Since joining Omesti in January 2014 as Group CTO, Yong Wei has been actively stitching together the many dimensions of innovation into practical and meaningful solutions to enable clients to use digital technology to grow and drive their businesses.

As head of the Omesti Innovation Lab enterprise, he is also responsible for running the day-to-day operations, as well as developing the product and technology strategy for the business.

Prior to joining Omesti, Yong Wei was the Head of Innovation, Commercial & Technology (ICT) and Regional Head of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) at AirAsia. And prior to that, Yong Wei held several leadership roles at Accenture in the telecommunication industry over a 12 year span.

Yong Wei holds a Graduate Diploma in Information Technology from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Queen Mary and Westfield College, University of London.

Work keeps Yong Wei very busy, but being a keen sportsman he is currently training for an Ironman and dragging his team along to enjoy the pain.
